Written and directed by Gavin T. Briggs, and starring Corryn Gutierrez and Cole Campbell. Present sees a young couple, having finished putting up their Christmas tree and putting each other’s present under it, retire to the bedroom for their own personal festive treat.

Coming back down the stairs after, they discover an additional present under the tree and think the other is responsible. They decide to open their presents, first exchanging the gifts they did buy before deciding to open the mystery gift.

It’s hilarious, in a very twisted way, and the two actors play up to the silliness of it perfectly. Throw in some impressive effects and you have a delightful festive horror short. You might even find yourself hoping to find this particular present under your own tree.
